2026 RIM Vendor Showcase: Consolidated Timelines and SPOR (OMS/SMS) Integration Insights

Introduction

Here is a consolidated view of five vendors’ responses to two questions from the Vendor Showcase webinar in February 2026. The vendors that responded were Generis, Accurids, Ennov, ArisGlobal, and Veeva.

1. Could you outline the end-to-end timeline from your release notes of publication to final production deployment for end users at your customer companies? What are the key milestones, typical durations, and critical dependencies that impact this timeline?

Generis

This depends on if a customer is a single-tenant private cloud or multi-tenant. Single tenant customers can dictate their upgrade timing. Single tenants get a minimum of one month’s notice but in practice generally 2-3 months (with early access to release notes in progress available about 2-3 months before the release).

Accurids

Depending on the size of the portfolio and the engaged resources, for a full SaaS solution on private cloud, we are looking at a 1-6 month timelines from the deployment to full EMA PMS full portfolio data alignment. Key milestones involve a data quality risk assessment (2 weeks) and data alignment of key products (6 weeks). Typically, readiness of the pharma company and availability of SMEs for data review and augmentation are the critical dependencies that can impact the timelines.

Ennov

The steps for the deployment of Ennov IDMP are typically, for a first installation:
System installation, Data setup – import of RIM and PMS data (required for next steps), Training and configuration, Data quality / validation, System validation, Go-live
The main factors that impact the timeline are: IDMP data readiness and number of products. Typical duration is 2-3 months. For a minor upgrade, the timing can be much shorter, typically 1 week

ArisGlobal

The timeline for LifeSphere Regulatory powered by SPORIFY IDMP data is typically between 2.5-3 months from release notes & pre-val kit availability to production go-live for major releases. Key milestones include Customer Sandbox Verification and UAT. Customer Sandbox Verification and UAT activities are in average calculated with 2 weeks duration in total for each.

Veeva

It is not possible to provide a single standard timeline as it depends on the starting point for each customer, e.g. are they already a Veeva RIM user or is this an implementation from scratch; are they already populating and maintaining all the relevant data or is a migration / enrichment required; is a governance process in place to ensure that the required data is owned and monitored.

2. Could you please confirm if your integration includes OMS and SMS synchronization? If not, what are the implications and alternative approaches for ensuring data consistency?

Generis

Yes we can sync OMS and SMS, as it is all handled through configuration on the CARA side meaning we can adapt to new specifications and requirements by updating configuration, rather than releasing a new version of the product.

Accurids

Our integration covers the full EMA SPOR scope. OMS, SMS and RMS lists are collected on a regular basis to ensure the most up to date data is available to the SMEs and PMS is collected on a daily basis for some of our customers. Everything is transparent for the users so they can focus on the reviewing and data alignment activities.

Ennov

OMS and SMS synchronization included. Significant data changes (like status update) trigger a notification and process for managment of the impacts.

ArisGlobal

Yes synchronisation of all SPOR domains is supported including OMS and SMS.

Veeva

We do not currently connect to OMS or SMS. We recommend SPORIFY or Accurids for customers who are looking to sync Organization and Substance data.
